Pure Feed Company Pure Veteran Pellets is a feed for senior horses produced in pellet form. When the pellets are mixed with water it forms a soft mash which is perfect for older horses with poor teeth. The feed contains elevated vitamins and minerals which older horses often require. The food can still be fed to horses who are in regualr work or wanting to maintain condition as it is made from good quality protein and has slow-release calories. The veteran pellets are low in sugar and starch so can be fed to horses with Cushings and those who have suffered with laminitis.
