COVID-19 Delivery Update 

At the current time, we are continuing to meet the standard and express delivery timescales, subject to stock availability. The Foss Feeds team are working hard to get orders to our customers as soon as we can. We are also working closely with our suppliers to refill our stocks and ensure everybody receives what they've ordered. If for any reason this will not be met we will let you know immediately if there will be any delays to you receiving your order.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Our Standard Mainland UK delivery service is FREE on orders over £35, with a maximum parcel weight of 30kg.

All delivery charges are based on your total order weight and will be automatically calculated at the checkout.  There will be additional charges to any UK remote and offshore postcodes.

Orders over 30kg

For orders with a total weight of 30kg and over, the delivery charges are shown below. 

For bulky deliveries over 60kg, these orders may be delivered in boxes, bags or on a quarter, half or full-sized pallet and will be dependent on the total size and weight of the order.

How quickly will my order arrive?

We aim to process and deliver your order as quickly as possible.

For Standard Delivery option you can except to receive your delivery within 3-5 working days.

The Express Delivery option is a 1-2 working day service.  Delivery days exclude weekends and Bank Holidays. 

All orders must be received by 10am to be processed and dispatched the same working day for Express Delivery orders. If an order is placed after 10am it will be processed the following working day. 

For Express Delivery orders placed after 10am on a Thursday, these will be dispatched on Friday and delivered on Monday.  For Express Delivery orders placed after 10am on a Friday, or on a weekend, these will be processed on Monday and will be delivered Tuesday.  

Click & Collect

We offer a free click & collect service to collect your orders from our York Store.

In some instances, please allow up to 5 working days for your products to arrive in store ready for collection.

Choose the Click & Collect option at the checkout and once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email to let you know payment has been successful.  We will then email you once your order is ready for collection.  You can also log into your account at any time to view the status of your order.

When you collect your order, please bring a copy of your confirmation email and ID with you.  You can collect your items from our York store Monday to Friday 10am to 5.00pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm.

UK Remote & Offshore Orders

We can process orders from remote and offshore UK addresses including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and Northern Ireland. There will be additional charges to these areas and the postcodes within these are split into two zones which each have different charges.  All delivery options and costs will be subject to weight and will be automatically shown during the checkout process once the postcode is entered.

Please be aware that delivery to remote and offshore UK postcodes may take a little longer.  We will keep you informed of our chosen courier and their expected delivery times once your order is processed.

For any orders to the Isle of Wight (PO30-PO41) or Isle of Scilly (TR21 – TR24) there will be a £7.00 charge on top of the regular delivery charges.  All delivery charges are subject to weight and this additional charge will be automatically shown during the checkout process once the postcode is entered.

We, unfortunately, do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland and we do not deliver internationally outside the UK. 

Delivery notifications & tracking your order

Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email detailing your order and chosen delivery options.  Once your order is dispatched and with our courier, you will be kept informed about the delivery times for your order.  If for any reason there may be a delay with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to keep you updated on when it will arrive.

If you have placed your order through your account, you can also log into your account at any time to view the status of your order.

Orders will be dispatched via our couriers which include DHL, Royal Mail, DPD Local or Fedex.  The courier will be dependent on the products you order, but the prices for all couriers are the same.  

You will receive tracking information in your emails, along with up to date information from the couriers via email or SMS if you have provided us with your mobile phone number.

If you ordered more than 1 item please be aware you may receive multiple parcels and these may be from different courier services therefore they may arrive at different times.  Delivery for these will only be charged once and we will endeavour to keep you updated with estimated delivery times for both couriers.

Unfortunately, we do not support multiple delivery addresses per order.

Will I have to sign for my package?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, your delivery will be contact free and all couriers will not require a signature on delivery.

What do I do if I’m not going to be in?

Please provide us with any special instructions at the time of placing your order if you would like your order to be left in a safe place if you’re not going to be available to receive your order.  Once your order has been dispatched, the couriers will notify you of the estimated delivery time and through their websites you may be also able to add any special instructions and change delivery times should you require this.

What do I do if I miss the delivery of my order?

If you are not home for the first delivery attempt, the courier will automatically attempt delivery one more time.  The courier will provide you with notification either via a card through the door, text or email to let you know that they have attempted delivery.  If the second attempt is unsuccessful, the courier will return the item to the local depot where it will hold the order for 5 days. If no contact has been made by yourself, they will return the parcel back to our York Store and we will contact you to arrange a re-delivery which may be charged at the rate for the weight and location of the delivery address.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

We will take great care in packing your order to ensure it reaches you safe and undamaged, however if any item you receive from us is damaged please call us as soon as possible on 01904 706376 or email us at [email protected].  We will require a photo of the damaged item and we will then advise on the best course of action which can include a replacement, exchange or refund.

Exchange and Refunds

If you wish to return a product to us for any reason you have 14 days to contact us after you receive your order.  You can return the goods in person to our York store or post them back to us.

If you are returning a product due to a change of mind or the product not fitting correctly you will be required to return the parcel to us at your own expense.  We recommend you obtain a proof of postage when returning products to us.

Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a full refund of the product and the standard delivery costs where appropriate. We will inform you once a refund has been issued and this could take up to 7 working days.
